Happy Birthday...

To the Fisher Building!
Yesterday was the celebration of the Fisher Building in Detroit's 80th Birthday. For those who don't know, this building was designed by my company's founder, Albert Kahn. Being so, our CEO spoke at the press conference/birthday yesterday and was intereviewed by multiple media outlets.

But that isn't the exciting part, the exciting part is that the Fisher Building (or Farbman Group the owners of the Fisher Building) had this replica cake made for the event. It was honestly 3 feet tall by about 3 feet wide. It was the biggest cake I have ever saw in real life. It was amazing.

So being the fabulous people that they are, they donated this cake to Kahn. Boy oh boy were we excited. So yesterday was suger high city for Kahn employees, and man was it fun!

So check out these photos below, and in case I have you interested in the Fisher Building, read about it here and here. It is defintely a historic icon in the city of Detroit.
ps- to read about the event that happened yesterday, check out this Crain's article.
