A secret, a city and a really good friend

I have been keeping something from all your fabulous people out here on the world wide web. I don't know why either because this something is so very exciting and awesome.

In just mere days (actually seven) I'm going to visit one of my favorite people, and very good friend, Ms. Kimbery Julie.

You might have seen her over at her blog, wouldn't stop if I could...

This upcoming Thursday, I'm flying out to Atlanta to stay with this wonderful gal for the weekend. It was a trip that we've been talking about and planning for over a year now. Finally once the new year passed I had no excuses and booked the plane tickets.

What you might not know about my friendship with Kimberly is that we met through blogging. Yup, a blogger friend turned real life friend. What started as comments on post, turned into much longer comments on posts, into private emails about something said on a post, to swapping of addresses and lots of fun surprises and gifts to each other in the postal mail (remember when she gifted me a blog redesign?), this then turned into long emails about our personal lives that were seriously pages in length and sent everyday and lasted for weeks on end, which finally turned into phone calls and text message and now a trip to visit.

I must tell you that I adore this girl (even if she doesn't blog very often anymore) and I know that we are going to have one rockin' time in the ATL. Let me tell you just why I'm traveling to the beautiful south to visit my favorite blogger and friend...

First of all, she is such a kind soul. This is her with the love of her life, Lily. I can't wait to meet her!

She knows how to have a good time and still look so friggin' cute. Did I mention she works at J.Crew? Yup, my wardrobe is not going even be close to par with hers!

After she graduated from UGA last year, she picked up all her stuff and move to the lil' ol' island better known as St. Croix. Yea, he is awesome and adventurous like that.

She is so smart (see that graduation cap?!) and never seizes to amazes me with her wisdom and wit. She even blew me out of the water yesterday with a word worth 50 points on Words with Friends! Also she dresses really well. Did I already mention that? Well, she really does!

She is always doing something super fun, like climbing mountains...

...or swinging in the jungle!

And she has the biggest heart of anyone I know. Even in the snow she takes her baby on walks (if you know me, I would not be standing out in the cold snow taking photos!).

I really cannot wait to go visit this chick down in Atlanta. This will be my first time ever visiting the city and she has a list of fun things already planned (including eating at Chick-fil-a because I've never been to one). Don't you all worry, I will definitely be sharing our adventures here when I get back.
