Too Pretty to Work, Happy Day Outfit & Hair Cut!

I'm so thankful Friday is here. This week has been nothing short of a crazy disaster. I've already worked close to 40 hours and this day has just started. Blah. What's up with all this work? I'm not cut out for this anymore. I'm more into fun and friends and blogging (which I've been absent from your blogs, don't hate me).

Speaking of fun, the weather around here has sucked. Really cold days with sprinklings of snow on a surprise basis. To make up for the crappy mood I've been in as a result of work and cold, I decided to pull out a super bright outfit that makes me smile a few days ago. 

I don't know how you fashion blogger document your outfits. These are the best photos I could come up with from my happy day outfit. The best part of this whole outfit? A young lady telling me that it looks like a "damn Starburst burst on my body" while leaving work. I said thank-you even though I don't think she meant it as a compliment.

In other news, I got my hairs cut yesterday. And I love it. I go to this fabulous lil' salon in Detroit called Curl Up & Dye (Michigan ladies, if you're looking for a new place to get your hairs cut at, let me know. I have discount cards if you want to try up CU&D, I highly recommend it!)

The decor at the salon, literally, makes me want to curl up & dye for. Look at that fabulous wall paper. I want it so bad that I just might steal it one day. I'm serious.

Also, this place is so awesome that on top of them wanting you to look fabulous with your style, they want you to be safe. Yup, instead of suckers, this salon gives away free condoms (Curl Up & Dye is right next door to a Planned Parenthood). Which is great because, well you know, it saves cash and keeps me from having any little Jenni's running around.

But onto the important things like my awesome hair cut. So I begged you all yesterday for some tips and advice and you wonderful people came through with flying colors. One gentlemen, Mr. Barry, even sent me an email with lots of styles that he thought I might like. This made me so happy because it's always nice to get a guys opinion (plus Barry is awesome, if you haven't visited his blog yet, you need to now. This is one man you want to know!). One tip he gave me was to think about getting a face frame again, I think he used the term impossibly sexy, which totally caught my attention. I followed his advice and did just that...

At first I wasn't sure about the cut...

I mean, bangs again, really, Jenni?

But after awhile I began to love it. And love it I do! It's not too much of a difference (hehe) but it is much better.
