Who knew that callus, bruises & sweat stains could be so sexy?!

I pledge to get up on the trapeze.

So I had my second day of aerial yoga on Saturday and it was 100 times better than the first week. I got up onto the trapeze all by myself (hooray! Pledge one complete) and I learned how to climb the fabric/robe (although I didn't get too high up). I did get a few bruises in some unmentionable areas and cut my toe from the rope but it doesn't matter because I rocked. I am officially hooked and in love with aerial yoga.
Last night a few of us got together for a private lesson yoga class at Super Girl's house and it was awesome as well. I was sweating like crazy at the end and thought I was going to slide off my mat during one of our downward dog series! I adore my blogging girls and all the fun things we do being active!

Check out our fun from aerial yoga this past Saturday*:

Mandy & Ria rocking it out!

Sarah - amazing as always

Ria always looks so beautiful and graceful

And onto my mad skills... (HaHa)

(( it's all in the balancing... which I have very little of ))

(( my almost trick - I just needed to let go of that right arm and left foot, oops ))

(( at least I'm having fun... ps- this was right below I completely tumbled to the floor, hilarious! See this is what happens when I let go! No actually I wasn't doing the flamingo grip which is why I tumbled down ))

One day I WILL do this though (next pledge maybe?)...

*disclaimer: Mandy, Ria and Sarah have already taken eight weeks of the class which is why they are so awesome and I look like a fool. Just thought I needed to toss that out into the world so that people don't think I'm really, really bad :)

Don't forget to enter my 'I Pledge to...' giveaway for a chance to win a $20 gift card to Whole Foods and other healthy goodies from me!

I've never heard of arial yoga, but now that I have.. wow! It looks like some folks were flying and they are so graceful! Keep it up, you'll be doing this well in no time! Plus, it just looks so darn fun, who cares how you look, right?

The form will come in time Jenni; the important thing is you're sticking to your pledges and having fun doing it, even if it isn't always easy. I think you're setting a great example.
