Beer, Bagels, Texting, Nails and an Octopus on My Head.

I haven’t had a bran dump in awhile now so I think I’m due. Lots on my mind and I haven’t had the time to blog about it! Horrible, I know! At least I tweet all about it.. HaHa. ANYWAYS….

Today is one of my bestest friend's, Mandy, 25th Birthday. Last night a bunch of us went out to a local bar and had a total blast. Although I only got four hours of sleep, the laughs and love (and shots!) were totally worth it. I love my friends.

Today was my day for the Bagel Club so I surprised everyone with the fabulousity that is Einstein Bagels. A perfect breakfast to help soak up the alcohol from last night. Since so many of you asked about the Bagel Club from my last post, here is how it works. This is an exclusive club of 12 employees at my firm. Each Thursday someone from the club is assigned to bring in a dozen bagels. Since there are twelve of us, that means that I only have to bring in a dozen bagels once every 12 weeks and get a free bagel every single Thursday. Seriously, it’s the greatest thing in all of mankind. Me love Bagel Club Thursdays.

Not only is today a special day because it’s my best friend’s birthday, Bagel Club Thursday and my last day of work for four days (holler!)… but it is the day that Michigan puts the no texting and driving law into effect. Seriously, huge life changes here. I don’t text all the time while driving nor so I ever do it in busy traffic areas (way to scared to do that) but I do send a text (or tweet) here and there. Gosh stupid safety first… I already wear my seat belt and don’t drink and drive, what more do they want from me? (just kidding of course!)

So I know I post about this way too much but yesterday I got my third delivery from Door to Door Organics. Seriously, I love them. So much fruit and veggies that I don’t even know what to do with it all. I love organic food.

So I’m pretty much obsessed with art. Like I regret not going into something artsy in college. With this being said, you know I was uber excited when I found this street artist that created a piece on my firms founder. I really like street art anyways, but this is super cool because I know the person!

Random, but does anyone else ever have problems with their nails peeling? I don’t know what to do about it (see my pointer and middle finger)! I tried lots of nails products but nothing is helping. It makes me rather sad to see my long nails pealing… especially since I’m an avid nail bitter so these long nails are an achievement for me. Any tips you can provide would be awesome :)

Speaking of myself, I got my hairs cut yesterday for the first time since February. I was a little disappointed when I called to make my appointment earlier this week and learned that my hairdresser had moved to Oregon. However, being the open person I am, I still decided to try out another girl. And the new girl, well, she is just as fabulous. I don’t know how they do it, but they sure know how to make a girl look good every time all the time! Also, I really enjoy car photos.

I will devote a whole other post to this one topic but I still laugh at these photos from my trip to the Toledo Zoo last week with my friend Mallory. It was totally spur of the moment trip and turned out the be so much fun.

My nails sometimes peel but I don't think I help the situation because I tend to pick them. I find that if I just keep my nails painted they're less likely to peel and I'm less likely to pick. But that's about the only solution I've found.

The school that I start at in the fall has an Einstein Brother store on the meal plan, so I am beyond excited about the bagels!

but my nails peel all the time too and I have no idea what to do about it, it is really entertaining though to peel them when I'm really bored.

I swear by OPI nail envy - I used it for when I first started growing my nails (yeay us for growing our nails btw!) and I think they have a special one for peeling as well. I alway get mine on ebay cos its cheaper but its definitely worth paying for!

I love the idea of bagel club, one of my besties gets a breakfast butty every friday which I'm quite jealous of.

Bagels, beer and a cute haircut? I am loving it! There is an Einstein right down the street from me and it's always SO tempting to get breakfast!

My nails peel when I paint them. Even if I only have nail polish on for 1 day, they peel for weeks after, so my only solution was to stop painting them. :-( My hair stylist said I probably have a slight allergy to dye (dying my hair KILLS it, too!) :-(

it's no fun, but if I want my nails and hair to stay healthy, I have to stay away from the colors.
