Another fun Detroit adventure, courtesy of Groupon. I am truly obsessed with this site. Haven't check it out yet, go do it now!
This past weekend, three of my best friends and I went on a tour by Preservation Wayne of Detroit's Eastern Market. This is one of my favorite places to go to on a Saturday morning so getting a tour of the area was rather interesting. Did you know that Detroit's Eastern Market is the largest historic public market district in the United States? Yup it's true!

You only find the finest ladies in Eastern Market
My favorite rule ever: NO GRUMPY PEOPLE
This is my rule for life.
Hustle and bustle of the market
Such cool paintings of art are scattered throughout the markets - this particular painting is in the Central Market and is one of my favorites. Who couldn't love a Grandma with a chicken on her head? HaHa.
One of the vendors was selling Mt. Dew jelly! They didn't have samples to try so we didn't get to taste any... but interested nonetheless.
Right off Gratiot road in Detroit you will see lots of great paintings and street art that signify the entrance of Eastern Market. I just adore this particular store front to Central Market.
I kept seeing these flowers and am now in love with them. Might be a new favorite.
Store fronts, building facades, lots of fruits and veggies... what more could you want than a day at Eastern Market?
And just for giggles... know why Detroit is the greatest? Because we hustle harder.
